The debut of the AIR MATRIX represents a new era in interconnect design, utilizing DH Labs proprietary new Air Matrix dielectric material. DH Labs has reported to us that this is the first and only audio product they are aware of that has ever used this type of new material as dielectric.

An unusual and very special microscopically visible matrix of 60% air and 40% Teflon (not to be confused with Teflon foam), the use of this material is a breakthrough step toward no dielectric at all, without the dielectric surface contact inconsistancies of other air designs, where wire is held in place by rods or other plastics. As a result of this new dielectric, soundstage detail and depth are energized, delivering razor sharp focus, and making listening a near visual experience. Sound is very open and exceptionally clear, with a vivid sense of air and delicacy of nuance.

This dynamic level of performance is achieved without compromising the cable neutrality that has become the Silver Sonic trademark. Terminations in either RCAs of the highest quality materials, or XLRs in balanced configuration. RCAs are DH Labs' own High Copper Alloy™ machined locking RCA plugs, which are over 99% copper content - about twice that of common 'high-end' gold plated brass RCAs. This results in a much better sounding cable.
