Great sound & terrific value! The NEW Music Hall MMF-5.1 Turntable is a 2-speed, belt driven turntable with many fine features. An unique dual-plinth design with six rubber springs separating the bottom motor mount platform from the top platter and tonearm plinth gives the turntable an extra level of isolation to the critical sound reproduction components.

The new improved version brings welcome new features, such as a gorgeous new piano gloss finish to top plinth, RCA interconnect sockets so that you can choose your own interconnect cables, tonearm upgrade to the one formerly on the $1000+ MMF 7 turntable! The dynamically balanced platter and felt mat sit on a high quality, stainless steel ball bearing sheathed in Teflon providing fluid and noise-free operation. The bearing assembly comes pre-lubricated. A metal screw-on record clamp is standard equipment as is the convenient round spirit level, 45 rpm adapter, and a spade belt.

The effective length of the tone arm is nine and a half inches, allowing for a very shallow tracking arc on the record, reducing distortion. The tone arm comes mounted with a very fine sounding high quality Goldring GL 2200 moving magnet cartridge, which alone is a $275 value!
